Richard Carver's iRMX Stuff

Where iRMX users can find stuff that I've got.
WHO AM I?

My name is Richard Carver. I am not affiliated with Intel or Radisys. I have been working with the iRMX Operating System for the past 12 years.
During that time I have worked on application such as automated teller machines and medical diagnostics systems. I have programmed under
iRMX using both the C and PL/M programming languages. I am currently working with iRMX for Windows R2.1 (but using a DOS interface not
Windows) and we are planning on upgrading to the current R2.2 soon.

WHY DO I HAVE THIS SITE?

During the early days when Intel had iRMX, the iRMX Users Group (iRUG) was good resource for getting information and help with iRMX
related issues. They had a quarterly newlettter, a member library of user contributed programs, a Web Site and held an annual conference. iRUG
was largely funded by Intel because it provided an alternative means of support for its iRMX customers. When Radisys purchased iRMX from
Intel, the decision was made not to continue the funding of iRUG. iRUG was able to maintain it's Web Site until late 1997. At that point the iRUG
libraries became unavaiable to all iRMX users.

As a formerly active member in iRUG, I felt that the iRMX user community lost one of it's most valuable resources. As a result, I decided to
create this site so that iRMX users could have access to what ever iRMX information I could find. I will be adding links to iRMX related
information, providing access to the ex-iRUG libraries and even providing iRMX tools/utilitis that I have wrote over the years. I hope this
information will be useful to iRMX users. Feel free to contact me if you have an questions or comments. I may not have an answer but I'll try.
